FIFA 08 is a popular football simulation video game developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts under their label of EA Sports for the PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3 and PSP. The game was released in October 2007.

If you're looking to get an edge on your opponents or simply want more enjoyment out of Manager mode without spending real money, then read on! Here are some tips and tricks that will help take your FIFA experience up a notch:

1) Money Making Method:

In Career Mode, after each match (whether won or lost), go into the 'Finances' section. At this point, click 'Manage Staff' followed by selecting any player who is currently not in your first team squad but still under contract with you.

Select them then press X/A depending on console to release him from his contract without receiving a transfer fee - voila! You've just made yourself some extra cash!

This trick can be repeated multiple times per game so long as there are players meeting these criteria available within your current roster. Be cautious though because doing this too often may raise suspicions among other teams leading potentially disciplinary action against both parties involved.

2) Unlocking 5th Difficulty Level:

To unlock the fifth and highest difficulty level in Career Mode, you must first complete a season on any of the four lower difficulties (Easy, Medium or Hard). Once done, go back into Options > Game Settings where under 'Difficulty' select 'Expert'.

Now exit out normally from hereafter until prompted again when loading up next time; upon doing so press left stick button twice quickly while holding down R2/RT simultaneously during startup screen - voila! You now have access to the challenging fifth difficulty level!

3) Getting Good Teams in Manager Mode:

To get better teams early on in Career mode without spending real money, try signing young players from smaller clubs. They will develop faster and be cheaper than buying established stars straight away.

Also remember that you can always sell any player who doesn't work out after a few seasons to fund new signings or improve facilities at your current club which should give you more options when looking for talent later down the line too!
